When you save with Nenagh Credit Union you're not just a customer - you are a member of a successful financial co-operative.  Savings are insured at no direct cost to the eligible member (subject to certain terms and conditions).  When we declare a dividend at the end of the financial year each share you hold is eligible for a dividend.  Your savings have the security of Nenagh Credit Union being covered by the Deposit Protection Scheme which is administered by the Financial Regulator.  The maximum amount a credit union member can receive under this scheme is €100,000.  The Savings Protection Scheme which is owned and operated by the Irish League of Credit Unions also exists to protect member savings.

Flexible and Convenient Loans

Once eligible you are welcome to apply for a loan and your repayments can be tailored to meet your needs.  We offer interest rates that are fair and reasonable and there are no hidden fees or transaction charges.  You can increase your regular repayments in which case you will pay less interest with each repayment.  You can redeem your loan early without a penalty.  Eligible loans are insured at no direct cost to you (subject to terms and conditions).

Saving and Loan Repayment methods

We welcome our members calling directly to the credit union offices to do their business where they can meet with our friendly staff.  however where it is not feasible for members to attend the office directly we facilitate people saving or repaying their loan through the setting up of a Standing Order.

In addition to looking after the financial wellbeing of our members, Nenagh Credit Union works in co-operation with our local community and we actively support local sporting clubs, charities and schools.  Another excellent reason to support your local credit union.
